IP50 hydrocarbon solvent - advantages:
- Good cleaning performance. According to the theory of “like dissolves like”, the hydrocarbon solvent possesses strong dissolving capacity against the lubricating oil, lubricating grease, anti-rust oil and others. It can also clean various dust and metal filings on workpieces. With low interfacial tension and being insoluble in water, the solvent can remove moisture on the surface of workpieces to make them congeal to water drops and fall to the bottom of the rinsing tank.
- Low toxicity. Does not belong to cancerogenic substances. Therefore, it can be used at ease.
- Can thoroughly volatilize without any vestige. Under normal and warming temperatures, it can completely volatilize without leaving any trace.
- Be safe for materials being cleaned. It won’t cause any corrosion and rusting to metallic materials. For most of plastic and rubber, it does not trigger dissolution, swelling and embrittlement action. Therefore, it enjoys relatively wide scope of application.
- Flash point within 49°C ~55°C and boiling spread within 170°C~195°C. During the storage process, it has high sealing requirements on wrappage and equipment. It is also widely used in the ultrasonic cleaning industry.
- Does not damage environment. It is available for natural degradation and can quickly dissolve when being buried in land.
- Does not destroy the the ozone layer. It does not contain chloridion and consequently the damage coefficient against the ozone layer is zero.

- Electronic products:
In electronics manufacturing industry, cleaning is a very important process. The cleaning degree will directly influence the reliability and service life of the electronic product. For instance: the cleaning of SMT circuit board. If contaminants are not completely cleaned, they will corrode components and circuits to cause poor contact, electric leakage and other disastrous consequences.
- Metal products:
There are a wide range of metal materials and varied processing methods. Generally, the environmental-friendly hydrocarbon detergent is mainly used for cleaning residual dirt left during the manufacturing processes of metal, as well as metallic processing oil and polishing pastes including cutting oil, anti-rust oil, punching oil, stretching oil and others.

The optical product is one of products requiring maximum cleanliness. Cleaning is an important process for determining the rate of finished products. Therefore, its requirements regarding detergents are extremely strict. For water-based detergents, some optical products require the absence of metal ion and the strong cleaning power while do not damaging the ITO film or corroding plastic. For the solvent detergents, they are required to has few moisture content and be inclusion-free. The environmental-friendly hydrocarbon detergent IP50 can also be used for the dehydration of optical glass.
IP50 hydrocarbon solvent - recycling:After reverting the spent liquor of environmental-friendly hydrocarbon detergents to new solvent via the vacuum recovery installations, they will be put into production processes again to realize the several recycling of solvents to save costs and achieve the goal of environment-friendly production. This behavior recycles waste materials to greatly reduce corporate costs of cleaning agents. The recycling rate of environmental-friendly hydrocarbon detergents can be up to 40%--50%.
